Homeo Doctor Arrested For Fake DNA Test

An allegedly fake paternity test by a homeopathy doctor has made him the cynosure of feminist-group eyes, and has landed him him in prison.

Homeopathy practitioner Ramesh was arrested yesterday after his wife Yamuna lodged a case against him alleging that he was using the falsified results of a DNA test to harrass her.

Yamuna claimed that her husband of 22 years had taken blood samples of their 3-week-old daughter to test for malaria, and had returned the next day with papers that he said were from CCMB (Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology) that proved that the child was not his. He then allegedly threatened to leave her unless she killed the child.

Yamuna also alleged that Ramesh has been abusing, mentally and physically, since a year after they got married, adding that he had been giving her birth control pills without her knowledge for over 12 years.

When Ramesh started harrassing her with claims that she had cheated on him and threats of killing the child, Yamuna finally lodged a case with the Saroornagar police, who are currently investigating the case, and have applied to CCMB for a confirmation of the "test".
