Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today reiterated that "Bangaru Telangana" would be achieved only when the government employees got involved in a committed way to develop the remote areas and villages of the state on par with its developed areas.
Inaugurating an integrated Collectorate complex at Jangaon, the Chief Minister directed the Chief Secretary to give a special allowance for employees who worked in remote areas to develop them.
He also announced that those who retired would get all their benefits on the day of retirement.
The officials would give all the financial benefits due on the retirement day itself, and felicitate the retiring employees and drop them at their residences, KCR said.
Incidentally, AP has turned infamous for sitting on the dues of its retired employees.
The CM also said that the state government would provide higher salaries to its employees in future as they played a key role in taking the schemes to the people, and said that that was possible since Telangana was a rich state.
He said that the entire country would recognize Telangana for offering high salaries to its employees.
He called upon the employees and peoples' representatives to coordinate to deliver their best for the all-round development of the state.
"You have to serve at your best and implement the schemes in a transparent manner without any scope for corruption," he said.
He added that Jangaon would be developed as a growth corridor with many facilities.
Ministers Dayakar Rao and Satyavathi Rathod, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, local leaders, the district Collector and other officials were present.
