Goons Attack GHMC Demolition Squad, Beat Up And Chase Them

Resembling scenes from umpteen movies, musclemen attacked a GHMC demolition squad today when the latter tried to raze illegal constructions at Kukatpally.

According to the information received, the GHMC staff demolished illegal structures at Gopalnagar in the Kukatpally area a few days ago. On knowing that the locals were trying to reconstruct their illegal houses, the GHMC staff went to the spot again and tried to obstruct the construction work.

Meanwhile, hired goons arrived on the scene and rained blows on the GHMC squad grievously injuring them. The musclemen also deflated the vehicles of the GHMC employees to prevent them from escaping. The shocked GHMC men ran helter-skelter, and later lodged a complaint with the police.
