CM Admits Encroachment Of Temple Land In Asif Nagar

Telangana CM KCR said the GHMC had been asked to demolish the illegal construction on the land belonging to the Hanuman Temple in Saber Nagar.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao admitted that land belonging to the Hanuman Temple in Saber Nagar of Asif Nagar had been grabbed by some anti-social elements.

In his written reply to a question raised by BJP MLA G Kishan Reddy and others, the Chief Minister said that the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) had been asked to demolish the illegal construction. The West Zone DCP had also been directed to stop the illegal construction.

The Chief Minister said that the Tehsildar of Asifnagar Mandal had been requested to furnish TSLR and ROM records along with boundaries with attested copies, and that upon receipt of the same, action would be initiated under Section 83 of the Endowments Act 30/87 for eviction of the encroachers.
