Immersion: 1300 MT Garbage On Roads
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation reportedly engaged a contingent of 2,500 personnel to clean the garbage on the 15-kilometre stretch of the procession route.

The final Ganesh immersion procession has generated an additional garbage of nearly 1,300 metric tonnes in just 24 hours.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation reportedly engaged a contingent of 2,500 personnel to clean the garbage on the 15-kilometre stretch of the procession route.
According to the GHMC, as many as 1,100 people were hired for entomology, and another 1,400 for sweeping the roads after the procession.
The GHMC has also deployed 31 sweeping machines and 88 other vehicles, including 4 JCBs to clear the garbage from the city's roads and at the procession sites around Hussain Sagar.
Cleaning was done at immersion sites at NTR Marg, Tank Bund, Saroornagar, L B Nagar, Safilguda, Malkajgiri, Peddacheruvu, Kapra, Durgam Cheruvu, IDL Cheruvu, Bowenpally Cheruvu, Pragathinagar Cheruvu and Sunnam Cheruvu of Kukatpally.
Similarly, cleaning of procession routes was taken on nearly 10 important stretches of roads from Balapur to NTR Marg. (INN)
