Suspended minister D L Ravindra Reddy said that he has no knowledge as to why he was dropped from the Cabinet.

"Democratic values have been on the slide in this country," he told reporters in the Assembly premises after he was denied permission to hold a press meet at the office of the Congress Legislature Party.

"The government cannot be run by an individual," he said, and reiterated that no clarifications were given to him on why he was (so unceremoniously) dropped from the Cabinet. (INN)
