Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana will visit the national capital on Monday.
According to sources, the PCC chief is likely to meet the Congress High Command to discuss the latest political situation in the state, especially the sacking of D L Ravindra Reddy from the State Cabinet. Sources say that Botsa is unhappy with the way Ravindra Reddy was suspended from the cabinet. He is likely to lodge a complaint, against the Chief Minister, with the Congress High Command stating that he (Botsa) was not kept in the loop while taking the decision.
A few months ago, Ravindra Reddy had himself wanted to resign from the cabinet following his differences with the Chief Minister. However, it was Botsa who convinced Ravindra Reddy against resigning from the cabinet. Therefore, Botsa is reportedly unhappy with the way Ravindra Reddy was removed by the Chief Minister.
Botsa is also likely to discuss the resignation of senior leader K Keshav Rao and the two MPs - G Vivek and Manda Jagannatham - from the party to join TRS.
The PCC chief is also likely to discuss the issue of cabinet expansion and portfolio re-shuffle with the party High Command. (INN)
