Article| Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, on Saturday, sacked the AP Health minister, D L Ravindra Reddy, for his open criticism of the former.
Kiran Kumar Reddy made this move after his consultations with the Congress High Command in Delhi. He had gone to Delhi to discuss changes in his cabinet with Sonia Gandhi.
D L Ravindra Reddy is the second minister, after P Shankar Rao, to be sacked by Kiran Kumar Reddy, for openly criticizing the government and its schemes. He is currently in London, with his family, and will return to India on June 4.
Ravindra Reddy was one of those who were displeased with the CM's alleged "unilateral" style of functioning, and had been a vocal detractor of his government schemes, including the Re-1-per-kg-rice program and the Bangaru Talli scheme.
