Film Writer Chinni Krishna Seeks Police Protection

Prominent film writer Chinni Krishna approached the police seeking protection from land grabbers against whom he had filed a writ petition.
Hyderabad | 19th February 2022
Prominent film writer Chinni Krishna on Saturday approached the police to give him protection claiming that some anti-social elements were trying to harm him physically as he had filed a writ petition in the High Court about some people encroaching upon government land in Shankarpally gram panchayat on the city's outskirts.

Krishna alleged that the "land grabbers" were nursing a grudge against him for knocking on the doors of justice against their "criminal" activities, and attempted to attack him physically abusing him in filthy language.

Stating that he was suffering from Covid, he urged the police to protect him from the "anti-social" elements and punish them with an iron hand.

Receiving his complaint, the police registered an FIR and took up investigation.
