Land Grab Case Registered Against ex-MLA Jeevan Reddy
The Chevella police registered a criminal case against former Chevella MLA and BRS leader Jeevan Reddy and his family members for land-grabbing.

Following a complaint, the Chevella police today registered a criminal case against former Chevella MLA and senior BRS leader Jeevan Reddy and his family members under sections 447, 427, 341, 386, 420 and 506 of the IPC read with section 34 of the IPC.
According to police, one Damodar Reddy lodged a complaint that Jeevan Reddy had encroached upon his land admeasuring 20 acres 20 guntas in Errapalli village under survey nos 32, 35, 36 and 38.
Damodar Reddy claimed that he had purchased in 2022 the above land which was located beside the land of Jeevan Reddy. He also said that he had constructed a function hall there and was running it.
Damodar Reddy said that Jeevan Reddy demolished his function hall in 2023 and grabbed the land. He also said that the BRS leader hired a Punjab gang to protect the encroached land and was terrorizing him.
When he resisted the BRS leader's "atrocities" and demanded that he vacate his land, Jeevan Reddy's hired goons threatened him with lethal weapons, Damodar Reddy said.
Damodar Reddy requested the police to intervene and make Jeevan Reddy to surrender his land. He also requested the State government to protect his life from the BRS leader and his goons by taking immediate action.
