Fast Track Courts To Try Rape Cases

The CM has directed the Law department to work on this in consultation with the High Court.

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday directed the Law department to take steps towards the constitution of fast track courts in AP to conduct trials in rape cases and other crimes against women. The department has been asked to work on this in consultation with the High Court.

The Law Department has also been asked to obtain suitable proposals from the High Court in this regard, according to a press release. (INN)
