Former minister and BJP leader Etela Rajender today vowed that he would quit politics if the TRS won the upcoming by-election for the Huzurabad Assembly constituency seat.
He made these remarks while addressing a gathering during his ongoing Praja Deevena Yatra, at Korkal village of Veenavanka mandal of Karimnagar district.
Speaking on the occasion, Etala said that Huzurabad was flooded by ministers and TRS MLAs ever since he had resigned as MLA. The TRS MLAs had also turned scores of villages into liquor bars. And the ruling party leaders were offering inducements to all leaders who were meeting them.
However, the people of the state were eagerly waiting to end the rule of the TRS, and the TRS would disappear after the 2023 Assembly elections, Etela claimed.
He also added that KCR would not be able end his (Etela's) political career despite all his repeated attempts.
