The Hyderabad High Court imposed a fine on the Telangana Excise Secretary Somesh Kumar on Tuesday for stopping pensions of retired employees of the department.

The Hyderabad High Court imposed a fine on the Telangana Excise Secretary Somesh Kumar on Tuesday.

Retired employees of the excise department approached the court alleging that the department had stopped their pensions. After dealing with the case, the court imposed a Rs 2,000 fine on Kumar, and directed him to pay pensions immediately to the retired employees.
