Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday refused to react on the objections raised by Jana Sena leader and cine actor Pawan Kalyan on the issue of land pooling for the new capital.
Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of a seminar on "Expanding Technology Cooperation for Smart Community in AP", Naidu said that he would react to Kalyan's comments only after having consultations with his cabinet colleagues.
However, he strongly defended the land pooling process, and said that a world-class city could be constructed on 33,000 acres of land, and not on 1,000 or 5,000 acres.
He said that the new capital would increase the land value, and everyone, especially the farmers, would gain from it.
He claimed that the land pooling process was done completely on a voluntary basis.
He informed that the master plan for the core capital region would be given by the Singapore governmental agency by June this year. (INN)
