Naidu Gives Call To Oppose Community-Based Politics
The TDP president asked to the people of the state to oppose community-based politics and atrocities against the SCs, and follow the principles of Gandhi.
Andhra Pradesh opposition leader and TDP president Chandrababu Naidu today gave a call to the people of the state to oppose community-based politics and atrocities against the SCs of the state by following the principles of non-violence espoused by the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi.
He added that achieving equality in society would be the citizens' real tribute to Gandhi.
He said that it was unfortunate that Andhra Pradesh ranked number one in the entire country in atrocities against the SCs, and asked the people of the state to remember the teachings of Gandhi and former PM Lal Bahadur Shastri whose birth anniversaries were today.
Recalling the words of Shastri, he said that politics was public service without any selfish attitude. He said that Shastri was a leader who firmly believed that politics based on moral values would ensure a bright future for the people of the country.
He called upon the people of the state to move forward by following the Jai Kisan slogan of Shastri.
Naidu's son and general secretary of the party Nara Lokesh also paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi.
