TDP boss and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu today held a meeting with party cadres at the party headquarters NTR Trust Bhavan in the city.
Naidu reached NTR Trust Bhavan in a rally from his residence in Jubilee Hills, and addressed the party activists there.
On the occasion, Naidu commented on the politics in Telangana. "The TDP is strong in Telangana. All of you have worked directly and indirectly for the party's win in Andhra Pradesh, and can do the same here. The TDP will get back to its past glory in Telangana," he said.
Speaking about his meeting yesterday with Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, Naid said, "I wrote a letter to Telangana CM Revanth Reddy to resolve issues from the bifurcation of the two States. I am thankful to Revanth Reddy for his positive response. I think the talks with the Telangana government will be successful. TDP's wish is that both the States should develop with mutual cooperation. It is important for me to protect the interests of both States."
Naidu also said that he had started the development of Hyderabad with Hi-Tech City. "I was very happy to see Hi-Tech City while coming in the flight to Hyderabad on Saturday. Today Hyderabad has gained a special recognition in the world. The subsequent governments and Chief Ministers continued the development of Hyderabad. Telangana has reached a certain level today due to all that work," he said.
Naidu said that while he would work hard now to take AP to the next level, his wish was that Telangana and Andhra Pradesh both become number 1 in the country. He also said that if he were to be born again, he would want to be born on the Telugu soil.
