The Opposition parties also alleged that the Modi government was shielding Adani.

The leaders raised slogans demanding that the union government constitute a JPC to go into Adani's financial crimes, and to immediately stop misusing the CBI and the ED against political opponents.

They also demanded that the union government immediately shed its "stubborn attitude" and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi shed his "dictatorial policies".
