The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) today moved a no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha against the Narendra Modi-led union government over the Manipur issue.
BRS MP Nama Nageswara Rao moved the motion under Rule 198 (b) of Chapter XVII of the Rule of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Lok Sabha.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi also signed the motion moved by the BRS.
Separately, Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi also moved a no-confidence motion against the union government on behalf of the Opposition alliance INDIA.
