Quite obviously induced by Chief Minister K Rosaiah's resentment that ministers have been ignoring Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu's criticism levelled against him and belittling him on every score, Panchayatraj Minister Botsa Satyanarayana unleashed a frontal attack against the TDP chief at the Secretariat premises on Thursday.
Talking to media persons, Satyanarayana made light of the comments made by Naidu in this regard and demanded that the TDP chief first clarify his stand on Telangana.
Satyanarayana said that Naidu has no locus standi to pinpoint anything against the Rosaiah governance since he himself had failed on all fronts during his rule.
"Almost every day Naidu speaks something irrelevant, unjust and out of context, not observing basic manners and shedding the responsibility out of sheer heartburn," Satyanarayana said.
"Naidu lost elections merely because people had no trust in him and Congress came to power because people believed in the party," Satyanarayana said, adding that their government even gave 30 lakh scholarships to students.
The minister further said that Naidu's plan to stage demonstrations in front of Sonia Gandhi's residence was absurd, and advised his party leaders to do the same in front of Babu's residence to realise their demands.
