Congress leader and former MLA Teegala Krishna Reddy today met TDP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at the latter's residence in Hyderabad. Speaking to the media afterwards, Reddy made a significant announcement, saying that he would soon join the TDP.
"It is thanks to Chandrababu Naidu and the TDP that Hyderabad has developed. The TDP has a large following in Telangana, and we will unite them to restore the party to its former glory in the near future," he said.
Also present at the meeting with Naidu were BRS MLA Malla Reddy, and his son-in-law and Malkajgiri MLA Marri Rajasekhar Reddy. However, their visit primarily involved handing over an invitation to Naidu, requesting him to attend Rajasekhar Reddy's daughter's upcoming wedding.
Following the meeting, Malla Reddy and Rajasekhar Reddy were seen with Krishna Reddy as he addressed the media, sparking speculation in Telangana's political circles about whether they too were planning to join the TDP.
Earlier, there were rumours about Malla Reddy joining the TDP, and these recent developments have reignited that speculation. However, neither Malla Reddy nor Rajasekhar Reddy made any comments on the matter.
