Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana on Tuesday ridiculed the promises made by TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu during the recently concluded Vastunna Mee Kosam padayatra.
Talking to reporters at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad, Botsa remarked that Naidu had made "almost 200 promises", and that every time he would claim that it would be the first file he would sign after coming to power.
He said that it was Naidu who had scrapped the total prohibition scheme, and that now he promises to enforce prohibition after returning to power. He described Naidu's promises as "day-dreams".
Botsa also claimed that the Congress would come to power in Karnataka during the next elections.
He said that people in Karnataka "want change", and that this time they would certainly vote the BJP out of power to bring the Congress' rule. (INN)
