BJP Holds Government Responsible For Death Of Child

BJP Vice-President D K Aruna condemned the "atrocious" behaviour of some police personnel which she claimed caused the death of a child yesterday.
Hyderabad | 1st June 2022
National BJP Vice-President D K Aruna today condemned the "atrocious" behaviour of some police personnel which she claimed caused the death of a child yesterday.

The BJP leader said that a family from Vangapalli in Yadadri district were coming to Hyderabad on Tuesday in a car to admit a seriously ill girl child in Niloufer Hospital at Nampally.

The police stopped the car on the way and demanded that the family pay a pending challan on the spot.

The family needed to explain the situation and request the cops to let them go, and the child breathed her last on the way, Aruna said.

Expressing grief over the incident, she condemned the behaviour of the police personnel, and held the State government responsible for the death of the child.

She demanded that the government bring the erring police officers to book.
