KTR's Khammam Tour Postponed Due To BJP Protests Over Suicide
The minister, who was scheduled to visit the district on Monday, was forced to cancel following the tense situation due to the death of a BJP activist.

IT & Industries Minister K T Rama Rao's proposed visit to Khammam district has been postponed, and the new schedule will be announced later.
KTR, who was scheduled to visit the district on Monday to participate in several development programs, was forced to cancel his tour following the tense situation prevailing in Khammam town due to the death of a BJP activist.
The deceased Sai Ganesh had committed suicide allegedly unable to bear the pressure from Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar.
In his dying declaration, Ganesh said that he attempted suicide and died after the minister mounted pressure on the police and made them foist cases against him.
Angered over the death of Ganesh, BJP leaders staged protests in front of the residence of Ajay Kumar demanding his immediate resignation from the post and asking the government to include Kumar as A1 in the FIR.
Following the tense situation, KTR postponed his visit to Khammam.
