Union minister Amit Shah today spoke to the family members of BJP activist Sai Ganesh who died while undergoing treatment at a hospital after making an attempt to kill himself.
BJP leader Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy arranged the Shah's call with the family members of Ganesh.
Shah consoled the family members, and assured justice to them.
Ganesh had alleged that minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar was responsible for his suicide.
He said that the Khammam police had booked 16 criminal cases against him at the behest of the minister.
However, the police denied the allegations.
Enraged at the death of Ganesh, BJP activists had torn the flexis of the minister in the district, and demanded stern action against him.
