Mangalhat PS Lockup Death: Congress Seeks Probe

TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy demanded that the state government order a judicial inquiry into the death of Bheem Singh in the Mangalhat police station.

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy demanded that the state government order a judicial inquiry into the death of Bheem Singh in the Mangalhat police station on Saturday.

Reddy called on Singh's family members along with TPCC vice-president Mallu Ravi and Telangana Youth Congress president Anil Kumar Yadav on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Reddy asked the state government to extend assistance to Singh's family and initiate stern action against the police officials who caused the death of Singh in custody.

He also said that they would raise the issue in the Assembly.
