Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today dared IT Minister K T Rama Rao to arrest his party leaders if they were involved in the TSPSC paper leak case, and asked him why his government was not coming forward to order an inquiry by a sitting judge of the High Court.
Talking to media persons after appearing before State Women's Commission in connection with a notice issued by the Commission for making "insulting" remarks against BRS MLC K Kavitha, Bandi also reminded KTR that it was his BRS which was ruling the State, and said that it was the IT department headed by KTR which had committed mistakes.
Bandi also asked CM K Chandrashekar Rao why he was not taking action against his son in the paper leak issue.
Referring to the statement of KTR that the TSPSC was a constitutional body, Sanjay asked the minister if investigative agencies like the CBI and the ED were not constitutional bodies.
He added mockingly that the State ministers were too busy protecting their leader K Kavitha to be taking steps to instill confidence among the 30 lakh unemployed youth of the State.
Speaking about his meeting with the Women's Commission, Bandi said that he had replied to the notice issued by the Commission. He added that he had appeared before the Commission in order to send a good message to the people.
He also said that he did not deliberately insult MLC Kavitha, and that he had just used a popular adage of Telangana.
