The Bharatiya Janata Party will take up a "deeksha" in all district headquarters across Telangana with the slogan "We want our jobs" demanding the sacking of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's son and IT minster K T Rama Rao, who it claims is responsible for the leak of the examination papers of the recruitment tests conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC).
This was announced by Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today, while addressing the party's Scheduled Caste Morcha State Executive Committee meeting at the party's headquarters.
He said that the BJP leaders and cadres in all the districts would take part in the deeksha from 10 am to 1 pm.
"We will continue our agitation till the CM's son is dismissed from the cabinet, and the unemployed youth who have lost their precious time and energy are compensated with Rs 1 lakh each," he added.
Reiterating his allegation that KTR had a role in the leak of the TSPSC question papers, Sanjay said that the conspiracy involved even the Chief Minister's Office.
"A retired official currently working in the CMO and other several big people have a role in the conspiracy. Yet, the government is trying to wash its hands off it by taking action against small fry, and is blaming the BJP to divert the attention of the people from its own officials' misdeeds," he said.
The BJP president asked why the Chief Minister was maintaining stoic silence when 30 lakh unemployed youth had to face trouble due to leak of the question papers. H also said that there was no need for the unemployed youth to worry, as the BJP was sure to come to power in the next elections and would take care of their interests.
The BJP president also charged KCR with cheating the Dalits by reneging on the promises of making a Dalit the Chief Minister and of providing them three acres of land.
"It was also only after a strong warning from the BJP that the KCR government speeded up works on the Ambedkar statue at the Tank Bund," he said.
He also accused the KCR government of pushing the State into a debt trap by indiscriminately indulging in borrowing. There was no way the BRS could repay all those loans if it was voted to power again, he claimed.
He called upon the Morcha to launch a campaign to bring the BJP to power.
