The employees unions of Andhra Pradesh have decided to go on strike from February 7.
They have also decided to hold a non-cooperation strike program from February 5 to February 7 before embarking upon the strike.
In addition, district-level meetings will be held on the 23rd of this month followed by dharna programs in all the districts on January 25.
There will also be relay hunger strike in all the district headquarters from January 27 to January 30, and a Chalo Vijayawada program will be held on February 3.
The decisions were taken during a meeting of the PRC Sadhana Samithi.
The meeting was held to protest the PRC announced by the state government.
Representatives of all the employees' unions took part in the meeting.
The meeting resolved to serve the strike notice on the 24th of this month.
The unions have also decided to meet the Chief Secretary of the state Sameer Sharma and urge him to pay only the old salaries to them.
