A special ACB court that is dealing with the sensational cash for vote scam involving TPCC head and Malkajgiri MP A Revanth Reddy has issued a bailable warrant calling for the appearance of his driver Raghavendra Reddy and his PA Sadaiah in court.
The court has asked both Reddy and Sadaiah to appear before it on August 9.
Although the court had earlier issued summons to the two, they did not failed to make an appearance at the court even after receiving the summons. This is what prompted it to issue the warrants.
The next hearing on the matter will be held on Saturday, July 31.
One accused in the case, Uday Simha, has already appeared before the court.
Revanth Reddy who is dealing with this messy court case already, recently found himself in trouble again when the Hyderabad police charged him with taking out a massive rally and causing considerable traffic glitches on the day he took over as the
new TPCC chief.
After thousands of Congress supporters and many vehicles descended on the roads on the occasion, areas including Masab Tank, Mallepally, Lakdikapul, Banjara Hills, and Jubilee Hills, had witnessed increased vehicular congestion.
A criminal case was booked against Reddy and Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav among others.
