The Chief Justice Of India, on Friday, ordered the reshuffling of 11 Judges from one High Court to the other across the country.
The CJI passed orders that the transferred judges should take charge of their respective offices on or before October 28th.
According to an official statement, Justice Vijay Manohar Sahai and Justice Poonam Srivastava of the Allahabad High Court have been transferred to Gujarat High Court and Jharkhand High Court respectively.
Justice Toom Meena Kumari and Justice Dantuluri Srinivasa Ranganatha Varma of the Andhra Pradesh High Court have been transferred to Patna High Court and Allahabad High Court respectively.
Meanwhile, Justice Ashutosh Mohunta, Justice Vinod Kumar Sharma and Justice Harjinder Singh Bhalla of the Punjab and Haryana High Court have been shifted to Andhra Pradesh High Court, Madras High Court and Orissa High Court respectively.
Justice Sri Niwas Aggarwal and Justice Aruna Suresh of the Delhi High Court were transferred to Madhya Pradesh High Court and Orissa High Court respectively.
Justice Muttaci Jeyapaul of the Madras High Court will take position in the Punjab and Haryana High Court while Justice Bhabani Prasad Ray of the Orissa High Court will assume position at the Kerala High Court.
