The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

Hon'ble Commissioner of GHMC and the Concerned Officers,

I am a senior citizen and resident of H.No. 8-2-402/B, Road No. 4 and 5 corner house , Gulistan , Banjara Hills , Telangana . This is to bring to your notice that the cleaner of the GHMC of this area is Laxman who has advised all the cleaners of the area to dump the garbage at the entrance of my main gate and also all the locality people dump the garbage at the entrance of my gate . This is happening since a long period of time and now at this critical time of COVID 19 pandemic . As a result of this we cannot go out of the gate .

I am herewith attaching picture of the garbage at my entrance. I request you all to please take immediate action and remove the garbage from the entrance . This will not only help the residents of the house but for the overall protection of the locality and its residents. I have called the commissioner and also the area cleaner Laxman several times to take care of this issue but to no avail and hence this complaint.I have also given a written complaint in GHMC but to nobady took any action.

I have personally arranged a labour to clean the area and cement it on my own expenses but still inspite of that the garbage is again and again dumped at the entrance . I cannot understand why the GHMC is not watching this and taking action. I request the authorities to take immediate action in the interest of health concern for all. I have sent complaint before and they removed it a few days back but again the heap of garbage is found repeatedly . In order to find out who is dumping , kindly fix a CCTV camera to know and sio that action can be taken. as this is three side road facing house hence CCTV camera is necessary . Kindly take immediate action to solve the issue permanently.

The shop keepers near Road No: 5, Sri Ramakrishna Puram, Hyderabad - 500 035, are throwing material waste on the roads which are flying on the roads and into the residences next to the shops.

The sweepers cleaning the roads gather the waste and dump close to the residents which is causing health problems to the residents.

Though we are not sure about the shops throwing the dump, the three shops suspected are Pooja Stores, Saatya Sai Big Bazar and Stationery Shop on the main road near Road No: 5 and close to Andhra Bank ATM.

Sir I am resident of Ashok Manipuri Colony Kapra. My neighbouring colony namely Sree Krupa Villas have constructed an illegal gate and using it as the main gate instead of the original gate sanctioned. This is causing lot of inconvenience to the residents of Ashok Manipuri Colony. Further they have constructed a garbage trap at the gate which is storing the waste material. This is producing not only awful smell and became mosquito source. I sure in the coming days karona will also spread both the colonies
I request concerned authorities suitable action to arrest the spreading of pandemic virus karona.

At saroornagar saraswathi Nagar colony road no-4 pochamma temple back side lane due to rain heavy gross and plants were growned up lot of mosquitoes are getting into homes we reported to ur ghmc employee she is talking vulgarly with all of them in our street kindly look into this

I am a resident of Amina complex, under Uppal Municipality. Sri Raghavendra hotel is functioning in the ground floor of our complex, which is not following the social distance, wearing of mask etc. They cater to people in groups and create danger to society by spreading Covid 19
They also.operate a tea stall which has occupied the foot path by putting tables on it. The disposal glasses are scattered around, people eat pan from by the near by shop and spit around.
Though we residents tried to tell to people to keep hygiene due to this pandemic no body follows
Request you to look in to this and do the needful.

The sweepers of lane3 Road no1 of New saidabad colony are sweeping once a week allowing near by slum dwellers to throw wine bottles and garbage bags.The sweeper will not clean footpaths.The ricksha man is not seen for weeks.
All this is due to lack of suervision by the supervisor.

Sir my residents in nagalaxminagar,mallapur.mainroad near saividyanikethan school. The thing is manhole was flowing on the road and dirty water has to come. E in to our water tank kindly clear it's hormfull Fr helth ..i hope as soon as possible clear the issue
