Hyderabad | 20th September 2020
The YSR Congress Party that rules Andhra Pradesh today extended its support to the three agriculture bills introduced by the union government in the Rajya Sabha.

Party MP Vijaya Sai Reddy, while extending support to the bill, said that it would give freedom to the farmers of the state and put an end to the middlemen system in the country.

Taking part in the discussion held on the issue, he said that the farmers would also benefit from the advance fixing of the prices of their produce, and get freedom from the excesses of the middlemen.

The bills would also put an end to the dominance of the market committees, he said.

He claimed that his party would always stand by the interests of the farmers of the state, and that its government in Andhra Pradesh was giving Rs 13,500 per year to 49 lakh farmers of the state under its Rythu Bharosa scheme.
