Warangal Textile Park To Provide Employment For 20,000 People
The Warangal Textile Park would be able to provide employment to about 20,000 people in the near future, Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao said.

The Warangal Textile Park would be able to provide employment to about 20,000 people in the near future, Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao said today.
He added that immediate employment would be given to 2,000 people who had undergone training in using sewing machines.
Rao held a review meeting with officials and representatives of the Warangal Textile Park at the Secretariat, and discussed employment training with them.
Speaking at the meeting, he said that many companies had started production in the Warangal Textile Park, and that some other companies had already recruited the required staff.
He also said that in the Palakurthi Assembly constituency, sewing machine training had been given to 1,000 unemployed people on a pilot basis, and that another 2,000 people were being trained in the second phase. The ongoing training for the 2,000 people would be completed by September, and employment opportunities for all the eligible people would be provided in a phased manner, he said.
He also thanked the companies which had offered jobs to those who had completed the sewing machine training.
The minister further said that efforts were being made to get a contract for these workers / companies to make uniforms for the students of government schools and hostels, and that he had written a letter to the respective departments in this regard.
