Two persons died of Swine flu in the Gandhi Hospital on Thursday.
Sathyanarayana, 50, from Naredmet and Swathi Bai from Rapthadu in the Ananthapur district died of the dreaded disease.
They were admitted to the Gandhi Hospital a few days ago.
The doctors that disclosed nine others were also undergoing treatment for Swine flu.
The Telangana HM & FW Department claimed that three persons had succumbed to Swine flu (the H1N1 virus) in the current season from August 1 to September 23.
In a bulletin issued on Thursday, the department stated that 101 of 621 samples were found positive between August 1 and September 23, and that 16 of 57 samples taken on September 23 proved positive.
The Principal Secretary (HM & FW) stated that adequate stocks of medicines were available in all the teaching hospitals, district hospitals and area hospitals. There were also enough testing kits and kits for Viral Transport Medium (VTM).
Besides, the Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM) was providing free testing services to all in-patients from private hospitals, he added.
The Principal Secretary advised the citizens to take precautions such as reporting to a hospital upon the first symptoms of Swine flu like high fever, sneezing, cough and body pains.
The citizens were also advised to avoid crowded places and shaking hands, to clean hands frequently and to cover noses/mouths while sneezing and coughing.
Homeopathy doctors also advised the citizens to take Homeo medicines as a preventive measure, under the guidance of a doctor.
They said that the medicine was available free of cost in the Government Homeo Hospital, Ramanthapur, and at all AYUSH dispensaries.
