Popular film actor and Film Nagar Daiva Sannidhanam Temple Committee president Manchu Mohan Babu today said that the TRS should retain power in Telangana.
He was speaking on the occasion of the visit of caretaker Telangana minister Thummala Nageswara Rao to the temple. He gave a warm welcome hug to the minister, who then participated in the pujas at the temple and offered prayers to the deities.
Mohan Babu called Thummala a younger brother, and said that the ruling party had implemented great welfare schemes. He expressed hope that the TRS would retain power in the state after the December 7 elections.
The actor, along with committee members writer Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, Shyamala Devi (the wife of actor Krishnam Raju) and others, also distributed clothes to the temple priests and staff on the occasion. The committee also extended birthday wishes to Visakha Sarada Peethadhipathi Swarupanandendra Swamy.
