TRS leader and MLC of the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda graduates' constituency Palla Rajeshwar Reddy today toured the Huzurabad constituency which is currently in the throes of a tussle between the supporters of former party leader Etala Rajender and the supporters of the party's high command.
When Rajender's supporters spotted Reddy's vehicle while it was making its way to Huzurabad, they reportedly raised slogans in support of their leader.
The ousted leader himself is also currently on a tour of his constituency for the first time after
joining the BJP some days ago. Sources reveal that his is a four-day-long tour.
During his interactions with the people of the region, Rajender said that he would strengthen the BJP in every lane and by-lane of Huzurabad and that he would always be available to the party's rank and file and to the people as well.
Recalling that he had joined the Telangana agitation in Gajwel, he said that he had a long association with the people of his constituency.
Talking about the prospects of his new party, the politician stated that he was confident that the BJP would be able to hoist the saffron flag in Telangana after the 2023 Assembly elections.
He also promised the people that he would tour all the villages of Telangana along with the state BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar after the Huzurabad by-election, necessitated by the Rajender's
resignation from the post of the constituency's MLA
