Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy narrowly escaped from a collapsing wall of an old building in Secunderabad on Tuesday.
The incident took place when both the Mayor and the Commissioner made a visit to Chandralok Complex where a person had died after a wall fell on him earlier.
Shockingly, another portion of the wall collapsed immediately after the officials' visit. Fortunately, neither of the officials were harmed.
Immediately after the accident, the GHMC sealed the 50-year-old complex to avoid any further accidents.
The Hyderabad Police also issued a warning to the people not to venture towards the building or its surroundings.
