Centre Extends Help To Building Collapse Victims
Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya directed officials to submit a report on the building accident and extend necessary help on behalf of the Centre.

Union Labour & Employment Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, on knowing about the collapse of the on-construction building at Nanakramguda, Hyderabad on late hours of Thursday December 8, 2016 immediately directed Chief Central Labour Commissioner Anil Kumar Nayak to submit a report on the accident and extend all necessary help on behalf of the Government of India.
Dattatreya held telephonic conversations with Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy and Joint Collector Ranga of Reddy district Sri Sunder Abnar, and inquired into the incident.
Dattatreya was informed that a person from Chhattisgarh died in the incident while his wife and child were rescued and shifted to hospital. He was also informed that 10 more persons are still stuck under the debris.
He promised all necessary help and ordered Deputy Central Labour Commissioner P M Srivastav, Hyderabad to coordinate with State Labour Officials, Revenue and GHMC Officials and extend all necessary help for relief and medical assistance to the injured persons.
The Union Minister spoke to Chhattisgarh Labour Minister Lal Rajwade and informed him about the incident, and instructed him to inform the kin of the deceased who were from Chattisgarh. Dattatreya also spoke to the Vizianagaram District Collector and informed about the incident, and instructed him to inform the family members and relatives of the labourers from Vizianagaram who were stuck under the debris.
Dattatreya will be meeting Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in New Delhi today to inform him about the latest development on the incident.
