TRS' K Naveen Rao Elected MLC Unopposed

K Naveen Rao of TRS was today elected unopposed as an MLC under the MLAs' quota as there was no competition from any other parties.

K Naveen Rao of TRS was today elected unopposed as an MLC under the MLAs' quota as there was no competition from any other parties.

The last date for withdrawals of nominations ended on Friday, and Rao was declared elected to the Telangana Upper House unopposed.

Legislature Secretary V Narsimha Charyulu handed over to Rao the certificate of his election. Those who were present included Home Minister Mahmood Ali, ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Chamakura Malla Reddy, and others.
