Vakiti Srihari Takes Over As Minister

Vakiti Srihari today assumed charge as the minister for Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries, and Sports and Youth Services.

Newly appointed Telangana Cabinet member Vakiti Srihari today assumed charge as the minister for Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries, and Sports and Youth Services.

Upon his arrival at the Secretariat in the morning, Srihari was welcomed with Vedic chants by priests. He then performed special pujas in his chamber before formally taking charge.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar congratulated Srihari, and extended their best wishes.

Srihari was sworn in as a minister alongside Vivek Venkataswamy and Adluri Lakshman on June 8, 2025.
