Traffic Diversions In City On Friday, April 21

In connection with the Jummat-ul-Vida (the last Friday of the month of Ramzan) prayers at the Mecca Masjid, Hyderabad, and at Jame-e-Masjid, Secunderabad, on April 21, the main roads between Charminar and Madina, Charminar and Murgi Chowk and Charminar and Rajesh Medical Hall, Shalibanda, will be closed for all types of vehicular traffic from 9 am to 3 pm on April 21. Traffic will be diverted as follows.

South Zone

Madina junction: Vehicular traffic coming from the Nayapul side towards Charminar will be diverted at Madina junction towards City College.

Himmatpura: Traffic coming from the Nagulchintha/Shalibanda areas towards Charminar will be diverted at Himmatpura junction, towards Hari Bowli and Volga Hotel T-junction (Khilwat side).

Chowk Maidan Khan: Traffic coming from the Kotla Alijah towards Charminar will be diverted at Chowk Maidan Khan towards Hafiz Danka mosque and Armaan Hotel.

Motigalli: Traffic coming from the Moosabowli areas towards Charminar will be diverted at Motigalli towards Khilwath grounds, Rajesh Medical Hall Shalibanda, and Fateh Darwaza road.

Ethebar Chowk: Traffic coming from the Etebar Chowk areas towards Gulzar House will be diverted at Etebar Chowk towards Mandi Miralam Market or Bibi Bazar.

Sher-e-Batil Kamaan: Traffic coming from Mitti-ka-Sher will not be allowed towards Gulzar House and will be diverted from the Mitti-ke-Sher junction towards Ghansi Bazaar to reach High Court Road / Khilwath.

Lakkad Kote (old CP office): Traffic coming from the Dabirpura (old APAT) side will be diverted at Lakkad-Kote and sent towards Mandi Mirlam market if necessary.

North Zone

The Subhash Road in Secunderabad (between Mahankali PS and the Ramgopalpet Road junction on the MG Road) will be closed for vehicular traffic from 9 am to 1 pm. There will be free flow of traffic from Rocha Bazar to Ranigunj.

Traffic coming from the Bata cross roads towards Subhash Road will be diverted at the Mahankali PS towards the lane to the left of the PS and towards Lala temple.

These restrictions apply to RTC buses also. City buses going towards Charminar will be terminated at Afzalgunj.
