Gajarao Bhupal Is New Cyberabad JCP (Traffic)
Dr Bhupal succeeds IPS officer D Joel Davis, who has been transferred to serve as Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) for Hyderabad.

In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Telangana government today appointed IPS officer Dr Gajarao Bhupal as the new Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) for Cyberabad.
He succeeds IPS officer D Joel Davis, who has been transferred to serve as Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) for Hyderabad.
Dr Bhupal, a 2008 batch IPS officer from the Andhra Pradesh cadre, has an extensive career in law enforcement. He holds an MBBS degree from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada. His previous roles include Deputy Inspector General of Police (Coordination), Telangana; Joint Commissioner, Detective Department, Hyderabad City Police; Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Zone, Hyderabad City Police; and Superintendent of Police, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh police.
In March 2021, during his inter-cadre deputation to Telangana, Dr Bhupal was promoted to the Selection Grade in the Andhra Pradesh police.
Upon assuming his new role, Dr Bhupal said that he was committed to enhancing traffic management in the Cyberabad jurisdiction, and aimed to implement technology-driven solutions, improve road safety measures, and introduce citizen-centric initiatives to ensure smoother traffic flow and heightened safety for commuters.
