The Telangana Jana Samithi floated by M Kodandaram will fight the Lok Sabha electoral battles for the first time in the upcoming general elections.
Speaking to mediapersons today, Kodandaram said that his party had decided to field its candidates in four parliamentary constituencies - Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Malkajgiri, and a fourth one to be decided after thoroughly discussing its chances in the rest of the 14 constituencies.
He also said that his party would extend support to the Congress in all the constituencies that it would not be contesting in.
Kodandaram said that his party would take out a bus yatra from March 16 named "Adivasi Hakkula Rakshana" for the protection of the lands of the Adivasis (tribals) in the State, from Bhadrachalam, and end it at Medaram on March 17.
