TTD To Provide 45,000 Free Food Packets Every Day
The packets will be given to the shelter-less and the special staff deputed to help during the Covid-19 lockdown in the temple city of Tirupati.

Upon the request of the district administration to provide food packets to the shelter-less and the special staff deputed to help during the Covid-19 lockdown in the temple city of Tirupati, the TTD on Saturday offered 15,000 free pulihora packets.
JEO P Basant Kumar personally supervised the food packet arrangements at the TTD Employees Canteen in Tirupati.
The food was prepared under the Annaprasadam Trust Wing of the TTD.
From Sunday onwards, the TTD will pack 45,000 food packets, including 30,000 in the first half of the day and 15,000 towards the night.
There will be different items each day, from among curd rice, pepper rice, vegetable rice, tomato rice, bisibele bath and pongal among others.
The food packets were handed over to the Revenue, TMC and TUDA officials, who in turn took up distribution at Vishnunivasam, Srinivasasam, First and Second Choultries, and Padmavathi Nilayam at Tiruchanoor.
