Thunder showers turned Hyderabad, which has been sweltering for the past 1-2 weeks, and which was quite even until early afternoon today, fairly cool this afternoon.
Clouds started engulfing the skies in many parts of the city since about 1 pm, and it rained mildly across the city since about 4 pm. Dilsukhnagar, Chaithanyapuri, Kothapet, Karmanghat, Tarnaka, Uppal and several other areas received rains and experienced gales.
According to the met, a surface trough is continuing from Telangana to south Tamil Nadu through Rayalaseema. The officials said that the same weather would continue for the next four to five days. They also said that light to moderate thundershowers would occur in parts of AP and Telangana in the coming days.
