Telugu man Ravi Prabhu just completed visiting every country in the world.
He is certified as one of the less than 300 people who have achieved this feat.
Ravi recently spent nine days in Venezuela, the final country on his list, resulting in his achievement.
His travel accomplishments have been verified by Nomad Mania, which has also ranked him the #1 traveller hailing from India. He also happens to be the first Telugu man to have travelled every country, and by extension the most travelled Telugu man in the world.
Interacting with the media today at FTCCI in Red Hills, Ravi said that so far about 600 people from all over the world had gone into space, 6,600 people had scaled Mount Everest, but only 280 of the 850 crore people of the world had visited every country. He said that he attained this distinction after 27 years of hard work, and had invested well over Rs 25 crore on his journeys.
Ravi hails from Vishakhapatnam and studied for a masters' degree in political science in the Hyderabad Central University during 1994-1996. He has been travelling for the past 20 years, and now resides in the USA. He has travelled a little over 30 lakh air miles (equivalent to travelling eight times to the moon) in over 1,000 airlines.
Ravi documents his travels through the social media, and has a popular YouTube channel named "Ravi Telugu Traveller".
