Fool-Proof Security In Place For Messi Match

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka today said that the very mention of a match featuring world-renowned football player Lionel Messi excited football lovers, and that thousands of fans from across the country were expected to arrive at the Uppal stadium on December 13 for the event.

In view of the upcoming friendly match between Messi and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's team, ministers Bhatti Vikramarka and Sridhar Babu visited the stadium today and reviewed the security arrangements.

Police and HCA officials briefed the Deputy CM on the preparations underway at the stadium.

The ministers reviewed the routes designated for the arrival and departure of Messi, as well as those for the Chief Minister, ministers and other VIPs. They inquired with officials about the expected number of spectators, the number of entry gates arranged, the parking facilities and the transport support being provided for football fans through Metro Rail and RTC services.

Speaking on the occasion, Vikramarka said that all the necessary facilities had been arranged for fans attending the match, and that the Rachakonda and Hyderabad Police Commissioners were giving special attention to the security arrangements for the match. Considering the expected arrival of thousands of football fans from across the country, the Deputy CM appealed to spectators to reach the stadium ahead of time and take their seats early, keeping security and convenience in mind.

He also said that celebrations for the Telangana Rising Global Summit had already begun across the State, and that Messi too had shown interest in participating in the Telangana Rising festivities. Many globally renowned personalities, heads of major organisations and CEOs were also visiting Hyderabad for the festivities, he said.
