Rs 1,500 Via Post Offices To Some White Card Holders
The Telangana government will pay the Rs 1,500 to all the white ration card holders who did not receive it so far, through the post offices of the state.
The Telangana government has decided to pay the financial assistance of Rs 1,500 to all the white ration card holders, some 5.21 lakh, who did not receive it so far due to technical problems like inactive bank accounts and no bank accounts, through the post offices of the state.
He said that the beneficiaries except from Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts could withdraw the amounts from post offices of their respective districts, and that beneficiaries from any district of the state could withdraw their amounts from the post offices located in GHMC and in Karimnagar and Warangal districts.
He said that only those whose names were already included in the list were eligible to receive the Rs 1,500. He said that the beneficiaries would withdraw the amounts by showing their Aadhaar or ration cards to the officials of the post offices.
He said that 52,000 of the 5.21 lakh beneficiaries had already received the amount.
