Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka today said that the Telangana government was committed to prioritizing self-employment schemes through the SC, ST, BC and minority corporations.

Addressing a review meeting with bankers, he said that it was important to revive the welfare corporations.

"The State government is ready to provide subsidies and margin money. After a decade of neglect, we are giving equal priority to welfare and development. Bankers should prepare their plans accordingly," Vikramarka told the bankers.

He also said that the CM would officially launch self-employment schemes worth Rs 6,000 crore at Wanaparthy on March 2 along with bankers, and that the event would serve as a platform for the distribution of financial aid and assets under self-employment programs, marking a significant push for economic empowerment.

"The implementation of welfare schemes will be celebrated like a festival on that day," the Deputy CM said.

Vikramarka also stressed the crucial role of bankers in shaping the economic growth of Rising Telangana, and added that the State government had devised strategic plans to attract global attention and propel development.

The meeting with bankers, held ahead of the State Budget, was reportedly intended to ensure that financial institutions aligned their strategies with the government's welfare and development agenda.
