Can Tackle 1 Lakh Corona Cases, Telangana Tells Centre
Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar today informed the union Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba that the state could handle up to one lakh coronavirus cases.
Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar today informed the union Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba that the state government was working on the various guidelines issued by the Centre from time to time, and was making all the arrangements necessary to control the novel coronavirus, particularly in the containment zones in the state.
Gauba had organized a video conference with all the Chief Secretaries and Health Secretaries on Covid-19 today.
Speaking on the occasion, the Telangana Chief Secretary said that the situation was under control in the state, and that the government was prepared to handle any outbreak with the required PPE kits, masks, testing kits, ventilators and hospital beds to deal with up to one lakh cases.
Hyderabad District Collector Swetha Mohanty, CCLA Director Rajat Kumar Saini and others also participated.
